Vanilla ice cream for 6 quart
1- 1/2 large box vanilla instant pudding (the large size is about 3/4 cups). I usually buy it in bulk and use 1 cup
2 1/2 -3 cups sugar (depends on how sweet you like it, we usually lean
towards 3 cups.)
2 1/2 -3 quart half and half (this can depend on how much fruit you use).
1 teaspoon of vanilla not critical if it isn't added
Mix well until dissolved.
Add in fruit or what ever flavor desired. The amount of sugar can depend on the fruit being sweetened; so taste it before freezing.
Our favorite is
Pineapple one can crushed and drained
Peaches diced then add more on top when serving yum!
Strawberries the same as peaches
Mango
Blackberry
To name a few or mix them up with bananas
You can use chocolate pudding and chocolate syrup and toasted almonds
My all time favorite is use French vanilla pudding and make just vanilla. When frozen carefully swirl in caramel syrup and toasted pecans.
