Donna's "She Shed" Quilt Group April 23, 2024

  

To start our Quilt Group we were taken on a tour of Donna's new She Shed

We were blown away with all the clever things in this little shed. Donna and her husband make a good team creating very unique creations.

Donna started our show and tell with this cute little package you can make yourself out of parchment paper. Then sewing around the edge and fold over the top and punch a hole. Perfect.

Vicki brought three new patterns she is ready to start some new projects.

...and the fabulous swimming girls Quilt.

Mary Ann is starting a new project with a new technique.
Using 6 panels and cutting them in a way to make these blocks

Can't wait to see how it turns out.

Kristen made this quilt out of 3 one yard pieces of fabric.
It would be a fun to try.

Kristen brought this fabulous quilt made from a kit.  Love the colors and pattern.

I brought this quilt I made with my sisters a few years ago.  I am sending it to Bluff Fort for Peg and her group to quilt and finish.  They have a new longarm machine and need some quilts to practice on.

I brought my hexagon quilt I am still working on.
Not sure how big it will be yet.

Those are less than 1 inch pieces.

Quilt Group February 2024

 We met at Vicki's for Quilt Group and it had been almost a year since we met last.

We loved being together and catching up on what everyone is doing.

I didn't even get a picture of Vicki but she is the perfect host. She served a light Strawberry cake with toppings. It was delicious!
