Look at Vicki !

Vickie is at my door step at 8:30 Saturday morning and look what she has finished. I know we were all thinking it would never happen when she said she would give it to the Mom on Saturday. She was on her way to the meeting.
I just wish I had a picture of the Mom when Vicki give it to her.

September Quilt Group

We had another wonderful evening with our quilt friends. We met at Rachelle's (her sewing room looks fabulous).
We missed having Donna (thanks for the Banner Pattern) and Cristi. Cristi we wish you the best in the coming weeks.
Vicki had us all envious of the quilt she bought. A friend wanted to sell it and Vickie bought it for a $100.00 because she knew Vickie would take care of it. It was made in 1945. It is in great condition. None of us knew what the pattern is called.
If you know leave a comment on this blog.

Hedy put together Peg's pattern "if the shoe fits" just out of her stash.
Looks Great!
Hedy also used the pinwheel pattern and put together her Donna fabric.

Ruth said she didn't do anything this past month. Only a huge (900 kits +) ward humanitarian project she has been working on for months. She is showing the pattern she is using for her next crochet baby blanket for a new grandchild.

Jeanene found this quilt at an antique store. She was driving down the road and it was out in front of the store calling her name.

Another little blanket Jeanene finished for her next grandchild. Oh wait, that grandchild was born while we were at our quilt group. Daughter-in -law Sarah was in labor when we started and before we were finished she had to have an emergency C-section.
Thanks to the I-Phone Grandma was able to get updates often.
It's a Girl!
Congratulations Sarah and Paul
Maybe the new baby will get this cute little pink quilt.
Jeanene added the applique in the corners

Peg is showing off her Birthday prize from her friend and fellow quilter Stephanie

Peg also brought this quilted card she found in a quilt store.

Vicki is always working, she brought a project she is doing for a friend.
The friend lost her son last year and Vicki is making her a quilt out of his shirts and jeans.

Rachelle finished her Cabbage Rose blocks. We like her fabric better than the one we bought. Oh well.

Rachelle kicked the pinwheel up a notch and came up with this beautiful quilt.
Look at the extra detail.

Glenna brought her Dresden Plate blocks and needed help picking what fabric to use in the center.
Red, what else!

Two little quilts Glenna made for twin babies.

This "Ragtime" goes to the twins new boy cousin born a week later.
