Mary Ann served Cheesecake and Apple pie with 3 delicious toppings:

Caramel Sauce:
1 C. dark brown sugar
1 C. whipping cream
1 Can sweetened condensed milk
Stir brown sugar and whipping cream over med. Heat until sugar is dissolved.  Bring to a gentle boil for about 5-10 minutes until the sauce reduces to approximately 1 cup.  Remove from the heat and stir in sweetened condensed milk.  Let cool for 30 minutes or so.  Pour over your dessert of choice and enjoy.

Blueberry Sauce:
4 cups frozen blueberries
2 tsp cornstarch
¼ cup water
1 T. lemon juice
2 Tbsp. sugar (or more if fruit is tart)
In a saucepan, combine the sugar, water, cornstarch and lemon juice.  As soon as it starts to thicken, add blueberries and cook until lightly bubbly.  Don’t boil  Let cool to room temp and spread on top of cheesecake.  You can make it ahead of time or day before.
