"Mini Road Trip" February Quilt Group

Vickie organized a visit to a new quilt shop (new to most of us but it has been open about a year).
So we took a little field trip this month.
We gathered  at the Cabbage Rose Quilt Shop.  It is a lovely store and so many beautiful thing to see.
 Lots and Lots of  PINK!

One of my favorites is the Pink Featherweight.
Almost to pretty to use.

We took a picture of our group together with the owner (Back Row left).
Let me say we all missed Donna.

This picture is not complete without you.

We were on the west side of town so we stopped at this Sub Shop for a light dinner.
I know the owner so we were able to use the back room for our show and tell.
You can't have Quilt Group without Show and Tell!

I started off Show and Tell with my Farmer's Wife Blocks 16 and counting.

Last June we all brougt our scraps and started a
"Wonky"
Scrap Quilt.
This is the one I made.  I am not sure I am a fan of "Wonky" but it is a good way to use up scrap fabric.

And I am finally finished with my Dresden Quilt.
It was suggested that I call it "Eternal Dresden".

Rachelle the over achiver made two more baskets.  We learned how to made these a few months ago.

Rachelle always can add her touch.  Look at the edge of this basket,  Amazing.

Rachelle finished her New Years Day Mystery Quilt.
She quilted it and even did some feathering.

Good  Job on the Label.

Maryann is making blocks for a group quilt with a bunny theme.

Cute applique blocks.

Maryann was so excited to show us the quilt she made for her Grandmother.  Her Grandmother passed away not to long ago and  she got to have the quilt back.
Great way to remember her Grandmother.

Hedy always does beautiful work.
This picture does not do this quilt justice. It is fabulous!
Quilt pattern name?
Showing off the quilting on the back.

This is Jan's Scrappy Quilt.  Made from all her Dot fabric.
Quilted, Bound and  Washed.
A real cozy Quilt.

e
Love the Dots

Jan found this panel and made the adorable wall-hanging for Valentine's Day.
Jan has a way with matching fabrics.

Jan started this at our June meeting also.
Yellow and Black, so cute.

The Star of the Farmer's Wife quilt is Mary Ann.

This one is ready to quilt.

The 30's prints fit this pattern so well.

Farmer's Wife By Mary Ann

Mary Ann found this great fabric for the back..  It is perfect!

Jeanene got the Farmer's Wife bug also.

Some of her blocks.  She has finished 30+ blocks.
Civil War prints but on the lighter side.

Great Color Combinations.

WE love the pinwheels.

Jeanene finished this Redwork piece. The Stars make a perfect  design to show off her Redwork.

Love it!

Jeanene just kept bringing things out of her bag.
The Table Runner she just whipped up.
Look at those precise corners.

After the fabulous Show and Tell, we had Soft Serve Ice Cream and Peg famous Cookies.
We all love her Ginger Snaps and Chocolate Chip but she kicked it up a notch with her new
"Lemon Snaps"
They have an extra boost of Lemon.  Delish!

We had a great time together.
Can't wait until next month @Jeanene's.
