At last I found some

After searching 684 garage sales, (just ask my daughter)
I found quilts!!! I am so excited!!
Yes. they are beyond shabby. I am not nearly as lucky as Mary Ann.
Although tattered, they still needed a good home,
where they could be loved and appreciated. I can see that at one time they were beautiful. Hundreds of hours went into their creation. I always wonder about the person who made the quilt, what she looked like, where she lived and what her story was. I asked the woman I bought them from if she knew their history, she told me she purchased them from Craig's List, for far too much money.
She gave me a deal.

They now have a new home where they will be treasured.

I am going to quilt group

My daughter Kristen called to tell me that her 4 year old daughter Eliza came out of her room all dressed up, carrying a purse and wearing her barbie high heels. "I am going to quilt group", she said. "I know how to sew!"

I guess it's time to teach her. Maybe she will grow up to be a quilter!!
