I found quilts!!! I am so excited!!
Yes. they are beyond shabby. I am not nearly as lucky as Mary Ann.
Although tattered, they still needed a good home, where they could be loved and appreciated. I can see that at one time they were beautiful. Hundreds of hours went into their creation. I always wonder about the person who made the quilt, what she looked like, where she lived and what her story was. I asked the woman I bought them from if she knew their history, she told me she purchased them from Craig's List, for far too much money.
She gave me a deal.
They now have a new home where they will be treasured.

What a find, Jan!!! And some great perseverance there. Looking forward to seeing them at quilt group next year.
Jan those are so great! I guess I have not been looking hard enough. I am still looking, but good job to you.
