Hey Quilt Group Friends, I want to make a charity quilt for my sister's group home this year and I am wondering if you would like to help?? Several years ago a few of you made a Woven Ribbons block from quilterscache.com to get me started and this year I would like to finish it. The blocks are 12 inches finished, 12.5 when you make it. We started with a red, white, and black theme. Put the light color in the corner so the ribbons will visually weave better=) Let's see what you can come up with! Thanks a million, Donna

January Quilt Group 2013

January Quilt Group finally!!!
Our group was so glad to get together again.
The Holidays, Weddings, New Babies.........
Mary Ann P. Was  our host and it was a great time together.

 pattern is from
"Garden Club Quilts"
and it is about 70 x 90 (give or take).
Some in the group just might be interested in making it this next year.

Mary Ann also had this on her machine.
A little baby quilt she is quilting .
It is going to be adorable.

Maryann O. is starting early on Christmas ornaments  for next year.
She made some this year for friends and is doing more next year.

Maryann O. also taught us how to make the fabric flowers.
It  only takes a minute and  can be used for so many different projects.
Thanks Maryann!

We were all glad to have Rachelle back with us  for a few months.
She has been making  Knitted Scarfs
Some of Rachelle's   scarfs.
She says they are real easy and fast.

Rachelle did a challenge  with her Cactus Patch group.
This is her Round Robin quilt she got back after a year.
She loves what the others added to her quilt.

Rachelle's New Years Mystery Quilt

Rachelle's  Quiltville Mystery Quilt.
This quilt is huge and look at all the little pieces.
WOW!

Check out the back of her quilt.... unbelievable.

4 of Jeanne's Christmas Quilts
She made 6 just a few weeks before Christmas for her
daughter-in-laws.

Each one so cute

All from the same line of fabric
She already had the fabric
That's why we buy fabric-
for an Emergency!

Simple pattern but so striking.
Jeanne's
 "Red White  and Bold"

Donna finished 5 more  Wool  stockings for this past Christmas
27 total?
Each one a work of Art.

And a quilt idea from a friend

Glenna's Christmas Quilt form a few years back. (Maybe 7 years).
Hope to get it quilted for next Christmas .
I still love the fabric.

Peg's Valentine projects

This cute panel quilted and ready to hang.

Debbie has a granddaughter getting baptized the month and this is her new Quilt.

Debbie found a picture on Pinterest and designed her own pattern.
Way to go Debbie!

Labeled with her name and date

JoAn finished her "Patriotic Pinwheels"
"Quilted by JoAn"

Love that border...

Kathee finished a warm and soft Flannel quilt for granddaughter.
The granddaughter requested  a rainbow of colors.
Perfect.

She had enough left over to make a baby quilt.
Very good use of scraps.

Hedy is still working on her "Women of Courage" Quilt.
Hedy is so precise and every block is perfect.
Nice Job Hedy.
Jan called this a blast from the past with her
"Pinwheel  Retreat"Quilt.
Added some applique and a fab border.

A fun evening with friends.
Showing off our creations,......
....some sachet favor from JoAn ...
Mary Ann gave out prizes (cute bags-no pictures-my bad )  for projects we plan to make next year.

.....healthy eats...
It doesn't get much better than this....

October Quilt Group 2012

Great Meeting tonight!
Thanks to Mary Ann O.
Tonight it was all about Halloween!

Mary Ann had us all bring: one fat quarter of orange fabric and one of brown.
We made a fun pumpkin project.

Everyone finished at least one block and now we are ready to applique.

Everyone working and visiting.

Mary Ann had the pattern and supplies.

Busy working

MaryAnn showing some of the things she made in her other quilt group.

Zipper bags for Christmas

Jan show some of the letters she is collecting for the alphabet in her guest room.

Maryann finished this fabulous quilt just in time for Halloween.
We were all Green with Envy.

Peg is binding her
"Sweet Baby Jay"
Quilt...

...and finished a quilt she has had in her "to finish next" pile.

I (Glenna) had nothing to show this month so I brought a quilt I made  (eight) years ago.
Made for daughter when she started teaching school.
I think I am ready to make my own
"Back to School "Quilt.

The Label is signed by her students

Debbie brought her Red White and Blue Quilt.
So bright and cheerful.

Hedy shows a Autumn Table Runner.
Love the Fall colors.

Maryann invited three of her friends from the Cactus Quilters group.
  Marianne shows her table runner.

Alex gave us a very important reminder to get our check-ups for Women's Health
She brought Thelma, or is it Louise?
Thanks for the reminder Alex!
