October Quilt Group 2016


How fitting to have Luann in charge of quilt group just before Halloween.
She does have one of the cutest Halloween Quilts out there!
Happy Halloween!

Peg started our Show and Tell with this awesome Quilt with beautiful colors for Fall.

Peg was asking for suggestions on boarders and binding.
We all voted what ever she does it will be great.

I (Glenna) brought part of a quilt I am working on. 
 The other half is on the design "bed".
  I love the quilt but not this picture..

Finally finished this Star Wars Quilt for my Baby turning 30 next month.
Yes that is 30 and he bought the fabric.

This quilt was quilted twice. it is now finished with the help of Sister Sally.
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you. Sally.
 He is going to be so surprised and happy.
Great Quilt that Jeanene just put together in one day.

JoAn put together this Red, White and Black Quilt.
 Made from Vintage Stars

JoAn has been doing some sewing and we love this Basket Quilt.

Pieced blocks and Appliqued flowers. 

Donna is back and quilting again.

Donna put together these two tops ready for a lucky new baby.

Love these Hawaiian Quilt just sewing strips  

She made two from these fabrics


Our final Quilt of the evening is this wonderful "Hankie"  Quilt.

Vintage Hankies appliqued on a background fabric.
Cut in 1/4th's and shuffled.
Fabulous!!!

September Quilt Group 2016

It was a Happy  Quilt Group 

Vicki's Home was so festive!
A wonderful Fall Dinner

I Started the Show and Tell this month.
I finished this  Alphabet quilt i started a year ago.



 
Letters are made with Moda pattern
I had a Moda Jelly Roll of solids and this was the perfect place to use them
 
My plan is to set the colors with  "Retayne"



Peg is "Quilting Her Stash"  
All the blocks ready to start laying out.

Jeanene finished this pretty quilt.  
Great little girls quilt.
Jan is finished with her "Bloom" Quilt.
Lots of work.
Jan did her favorite applique method and it looks awesome.

Jan's Halloween quilt was a real hit.  Love the purple dot boarder!

We are so happy to have Donna with us again. 
 She is busy again putting this pattern together.
 We call it JoAn's pattern. 
 (We call it JoAn's because she made 13 of them)

These Crayola Quilts are so awesome. 
 Vicki made these for her 7 year old twins boys that love to color.
Vicki got some help for her sister's stach.  
The Boys love these.

Debbie has this beautiful quilt ready for a new granddaughter. The pattern is called "Playtime"


Mary Ann brought a quilt top just completed.  
She said she made some changes to the pattern.
Awesome as usual.
This quilt blew us all away. 
It is Fabulous.  

We all had to check out the bathroom where Miss bubbles is "resting"
So so Cute!
