Asian Mums Quilt

I did finish one quilt top last month. My machine had to go in for it's million stitch tune up after I finished it, but I have it back now and it's purring nicely.

This was a kit I bought a couple of years ago at a quilt store near my mom's house that was going out of business. It had mostly Asian themed fabrics and kits.

Here is a close up of the pieced block. It's hard to see, but the kit had very shimmery fabrics for the flowers and blocks.

I liked that the directions had you satin stitch the seams of the flower petals. Really helped with those points that don't always come out right.
