April Quilt Group 2014

Hedy welcomed us to her home for the month of April.
Hedy is the best Host!

Great minds think alike
Now that Mary Ann and Vicki have retired they have started dressing alike.
What are the odds?

Mary Ann P. found a Vintage find of the Month.
The Quilt is in very good shape.
Great Find

Mary Ann has been making Bags
These are the perfect size for any project.

Some of our Group did the Sew Along with Lori Holt.
Mary Ann finished sewing the blocks together.
Love the bright Colors

Peg has been working on completing  projects that were started a few years ago.
The date on this pattern is 2001
"Welcome to my Garden-Finally"!

Peg made some extra tulips while she was making her Sew Along.
She put together this Adorable
Tulip Quilt.

Peg's Sew Along Quilt ready for the Quilter.
The red boarder is just perfect with the 30's prints.
Awesome!

Glenna, with a project that has been taking up room in Sewing room.
Thimble Blossoms  pattern called "Round and Round".

Glenna's "Red Chair Quilt"
Ready for the boarders

This Quilt is time consuming but was very fun to make.

Maryann O is doing another quilt for a friend.
We all love Chevron quilts.

Maryann O. brought three quilts her quilt guild is making for a women's shelter.

So colorful

Maryann O. said "How can anyone be unhappy laying under these Quilts.
Marianne is so generous with the quilting.

JoAn added a few more blocks to her
"Red Chair Quilt"
every block is an adventure.

Jeanene found this little gem at an Antique store in Texas.

Jeanene's Fabulous Sew Along Quilt
Each of these quilts are so different.
We love them all.

Jeanene is teaching some ladies some basic quilting techniques and this is the first project.
So Great.

Hedy our Host is working on her
"Women of Courage"
block of the month.
Hedy's work is so precise.
Thanks Hedy for a great night together.
