April Quilt Group

We had a great group tonight at our April Quilt group. Hedy was our host and we are all glad she is feeling better and she was able to finish her skirts for her primary girls.
Hedy started out our Show and Tell
showing the blocks she has been working on for our
Block of the Month
This is a good project to use fabrics from your stash.
Every block is different and it is fun to put colors together.
Hedy's Be Loving
JoAn finished a top from an idea from the Scrapbook Store.
She said it went together really fast.
Look at JoAn's Pinwheel! So Great
This was her first hand Applique on the border. It really finishes off the quilt top
JoAn's Positive Block
Vickie's Sister Jan was very generous and gave Vickie this quilt top and strips already sewn together for the border.
We would all like to know what pattern you used. It looks like paper piecing.
Glenna's Be Kind
Be Positive
Pinwheel quilt quilted and bound!
I finished the top with borders and found another row of pinwheels.
They got to go on the back.
"A Few of My Favorite Things"
I started this project in 2005
Redwork Pattern from Bobby Socks Quilt Co.
FINISHED!

Quilted by Kit
I love every minute of this quilt.
Rachelle has been working on this quilt for a friend at school. It started with a quilt top the friends mother made and wanted it big enough to put on a bed. Rachelle added a wide white border and blew us all away with her machine quilting.
This is the plan for the quilting on the border.
Good Work Rachelle!
Rachelle finished her Pink and Black Dresses Quilt and quilted it also.
Mystery quilt ready to bind.
Rachelle is working on another quilt we got a sneak peek but you have to wait for pictures later.
Jeanene made this quilt out of 5 in squares from charm packs.
We all have some of those hanging around. This would be a good pattern to try.
Redwork Patter Jeanene bought in Alaska.
Some of the Alaska Animals
Jeanene's Blocks
So Cut in Pink and Brown

Jan's colorful block
Donna's flannel quilt for new grand baby.
Hedy made this wonderful Fried Ice Cream for Dessert.
She said it had Cinnamon in it and that helped with the cholesterol?
We need the recipe Hedy!
Thanks Hedy for a fabulous night.

Look What Vickie Has Been Doing

Vickie's Twins left for the MTC on Tuesday and now on to wedding plans this month.
She called Saturday and wanted to borrow a ruler and rotary cutter (her supplies were at school)to make an apron for her new daughter-in-law. On Sunday she showed up at my door to return them and show me what she just
"whipped up".
Vickie you are amazing!
So Cute
