Sister Trip
JoAn, our sister LeNell and I flew into Omaha Nebraska, then drove through Iowa to Watertown, South Dakota to visit our parents farm. We stopped at a great antique store in Iowa. JoAn found some old quilts, she will have to bring them to our next meeting.
At the farm
We found a cute little quilt shop in Watertown, S.D., where we both purchased the kits Running Scared. A fun Thanksgiving quilt.
We found a fabulous quilt store in Omaha. Unfortunately we forgot to take pictures of it, but we did spend lots of money there. This is the only picture I took- I purchased the kit to make this star quilt, I love the colors.

While in Nebraska we visited Winter Quarters.
To our delight in the basement of the visitor center was a quilt show.
Some of the quilts on display.
This quilt was quite interesting, it belongs to a great great (I am not sure how many greats) grandson of Joseph Smith (who has recently joined the Mormon Church) Emma Smith actually helped quilt it for one of her Grandchildren.
